I've read both more than once and it always helps me remember why I am sober today. Life is so much better when your participating in it and not running. Do yourself a favor... Its real, BUY IT! My son, who was 16 at the time, bought the Heroin Diaries. I read it before he did and passed it on to a friend who has a drug addicted daughter, knowing that reading it would help her understand what her child is going through. When I saw this book I new I had to read it too. I am 45 years old and have listened to the Crüe as long as I can remember an I was very curious about what happens back stage. I had no idea there would be more to the story and little did I know that these books would change my outlook on the world. I hope there will be a third book. I want to see where he goes from here Nikki should be proud of both his writing and his photography. Both are beautiful, as is life... I realize that more now than ever, thanks to Nikki Sixx. Man is this guy happy?!!

Amazing what recovery does.There is so much I can relate to. We are both about the same age, we walked similar paths except Nikki had fame and fortune...I think somehow that makes recovery even more difficult....this book is chock full of light with glimpses of the darkness. Not as dark as Heroin Diaries and at first I wasn't sure if I could swallow just have friggin happy this guy is...But the more I read the more he matured in his writing and outlook. It's nice to see the story after the story so I am really glad he gave us a glimpse into some "normalcy" and not all the rock star story. This is a great book for people who are struggling with life...
